What does a free initial consultation mean?

A free initial consultation means that you will have a meeting with Fabian Hoffner to explain why you are seeking legal help, and he will let you know how he may be able to help you. This first meeting does not cost you anything.

There are three steps for you to consider in hiring an attorney:

1. Do you need an attorney?

This is usually a simple answer. Most people who contact an attorney already have a pretty good idea that they could benefit from having an experienced attorney guide them through legal issues and court systems.

2. Do you have confidence and feel you can trust the attorney you are hiring?

Before you hire an attorney, you should know about the attorney’s background and their experience working with laws.

You should have the opportunity for a free initial consultation, to meet in person and decide if you want to hire this attorney or seek legal help from someone else.

During that first meeting, you will need to decide whether you feel confidence and trust in that attorney. Without confidence and trust, you will not gain the full benefits of the attorney’s services.

3. As you work with your attorney, do you feel you are being treated with respect?

Attorneys are required to act and work within ethical standards that are set by their profession, including treating clients with respect. Fabian Hoffner holds himself to a higher standard: to provide each client with individual attention and explain the law in plain language so his clients are able to clearly understand what their legal choices are.
